Happy Solstice and otherwise Holledays aka Annual Gift Giving and Family Time. I get a big five days in Fargo. Should be wonderful and much too quick.

After months of trial-and-error total failure, I’ve finally found an easy-to-use and cool-looking comment feature from haloscan to add to the news items, taking my rants and shouts-outs to a whole new level—the realm of the blog.

First of all, lemme say I hate blogs. I hate the word. I hate the buzz. I hate the so-called phenomenon and all those punks who get book deals out of them, and long before Mark sent me that link (just recently) and encouraged me to get my own blog (months ago). My friend Bree, a livejournal junkie (shut up, you are), went so far as to set me up a livejournal account and email me my username and password. Her motive was to spread the d6 link for Google love (and Google finally owns me, and I like it), but I have my doubts. I think my friends are trying to make me more of a nerd than I already am. Blogs reek of excess I don’t have time for and intrigue I don’t want to share. But it’s probably a good move, “the future” which was yesterday’s news now today, making me feel a little more comfortable sliding in now that everyone’s bored with it. If nothing else, I can get some feedback. See if people are actually paying attention then cry when no one comments. Sound good? Let’s go. Gengar the Pokéman is going to help me.
